Those fighting Islam are primarily concerned about the fanatics who blow themselves up (an bystanders) and use passenger planes to murder innocent civilians.
If Muslims would clean house they would gain a great deal of respect around the world.

If they choose to not look at the truth, it’s their problem. Allah(swt) will deal with them in Doomsday. Seriously, don’t bother with them. Some people have no self-respect – calling another person’s treasured Holy book boring and ‘man-made’. No respect, I tell you.
They listen to what the media tells them – "all muslims are terrorits!" and blah blah blah. I realised that the media is becoming people’s God. If they were all terroists they would’ve all been dead by now.

Yes, but most people don’t look at the quran they look at what some muslims do and what some of us do is unfortunately not very flattering. Most people don’t care about our religion but they care about their safety the extremists are giving them and us muslims really a hard time. Can’t really blame them for how they feel about us.
Edit- Aisha was NOT a child when the prophet married her. Those who claim she was one are talking rubbish.

It’s called quote mining. You can do it with any religious text. In fact, you can do it with any text or statement at all.
The hitch is this: people who are hate Islam pick up on Muslim extremists and pick out the really violent, offensive verses of the Quran, and use those to stereotype all of Islam. People do it to Christianity, too and it happens to a lesser extent to other religions.
It would be roughly equivalent to judging the entire gay community on the basis of a few excesses during a gay pride parade. Or stereotyping all atheists based on the excesses of Joseph Stalin. You have people who are wrong and who are out of line in every group.

Those are very beautiful and I as a Christian have never heard them. It is time to rethink our feelings towards Islam and Moslems in general. I am sure Moslems who truly follow the Quaran and accept all it’s teachings deplore any violence done in the name of that religion. Anger is easy to find, the way of love is the path we all need to be on. Thank you for sharing those lovely passages with me.

Aside from the fact that I don’t see anything beautiful about any of that, isn’t "…spreading mischief in the land…" a bit vague? Seriously, a muslim could easily interpret "mischief" to mean saying anything against the muslim religion, or any aspect of muslim beliefs.
